Welcome! Thank you for taking the time to look at my bio. I am a holistic therapist who believes in the power of the therapeutic relationship to help uncover the resources each individual possesses to bring about desired growth. In a safe and supportive environment, I assist adults, adolescents, couples and families to access their core beliefs and values, identify strengths and develop new patterns of behavior to create lasting change in their lives.
I have 20 years of experience as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, using a combination of cognitive behavioral, solution-focused and mindfulness therapy to help clients deal with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, grief, compulsive eating, challenges at work and life transitions. I view the inevitable challenges individuals face as opportunities for healing and growth.
As a long-time practitioner of yoga, I encourage clients to develop and awareness of the mind-body-spirit connection through guided meditations and calming breathing exercises. This leads people to get in touch with their authentic selves, that inner wisdom that can provide the answers you have been seeking.
I enjoy working with couples and assisting in strengthening their relationship. I don't believe that the therapeutic process should take years. My job is to teach you the tools that work best for you, so that you can apply them to your daily life.
I specialize in working with anyone experiencing anxiety. My holistic approach to therapy helps clients to achieve harmony and balance in your life. Some tools include mindfulness, guided meditation, yoga and art.
I help you bridge the gap between feeling stuck and finding the answers.
I approach each client, couple or family with an open heart and mind. Together we will develop goals you want to reach and create a plan on how to get there. I often work with spiritual seekers and other therapists.
