I have always been a “helper” and over the years have worked in a variety of capacities in schools, businesses, community service agencies, shelters, and as a mother to three children and one big dog. I believe that each role has helped be to better understand the issues my clients face in their own lives.
I hold Master’s degrees in counseling and psychology, as well as a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in mental health counseling. I use a combination of cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused and acceptance and commitment therapy to help my clients deal with depression, anxiety, loss, anger, relationship issues, and job stress, to name a few.
I believe in using humor, spirituality, relaxation training, and mindfulness techniques to help my clients as we work together
to reach your goals. I look forward to speaking with you!
