I specialize in motivational interviewing, a goal-directed technique which allows you to explore and discover the possibility of changes within yourself. I have helped many achieve constructive changes in their alcohol and substance use, while meeting people exactly where they are at in terms of their readiness to change. I use this approach, combined with my empathy and unconditional positive regard, to assist you in making changes of various categories.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and have a Master’s in Agency Counseling/Co-Occurring Disorders, as well as a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Mental Health Counseling. I have worked with adolescents, college students, and adults. I look forward to speaking with you to discuss how I may be of assistance!
“Peace does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. Peace means to be in the midst of all those things and still be calm in your spirit. That is the real meaning of peace.” —Author Unknown
